The classic Halloween Happy Meal pails are back with a deliciously villainous Disney twist—five iconic characters, sticker sheets, and plenty of collector magic starting Tuesday.

Something delightfully wicked is sliding into Happy Meals this week. McDonald’s has officially brought back the beloved Boo Buckets for Halloween 2026, and this year they’re dressed in full Disney Villains glory.

Starting October 20 at participating restaurants (while supplies last), your Happy Meal arrives in one of five collectible pails featuring Ursula, Maleficent, Scar, Jafar, and Cruella de Vil. Each bucket shows the villain in their signature style and color—purple for the sea witch, green for the mistress of all evil, orange for the Pride Lands schemer, red for the sorcerer, and classic black-and-white for Cruella—then comes with a matching villain-inspired lid and a sticker sheet packed with iconic movie details true fans will spot right away.

The tradition itself goes all the way back to 1986, when the first orange pails with mischievous faces became an October staple. After a hiatus they returned in 2022, and the 2026 set marks the first time the buckets have gone full Disney villain. You can still choose a hamburger or McNuggets, fries, apple slices, and a drink; the only difference is that the usual box has been replaced by a pail you can actually use for trick-or-treating later.

Collectors already know the drill: hit a few locations early, check the app for availability, and don’t wait until the last few days. These limited-time pieces tend to disappear fast once the Halloween buzz hits. Whether you’re chasing the full set for the shelf or just want one pretty pail to carry candy in, the 2026 Boo Buckets feel like the perfect little crossover between everyday magic and the parks we love.
