Witness Statement
I’m not one for ghost stories or tinfoil hats, but what I saw last night’s got me rattled. I’m a mechanic, work late at my shop off Route 10 in Haverhill, NH. June 6, around 11:45 PM, I was locking up, tools scattered, radio blaring classic rock. The air felt… heavy, like before a storm, but the sky was clear, stars sharp. My shop’s on a hill, open fields below, no neighbors for a half-mile. That’s when the radio cut to static.
I smacked the radio, figuring it was busted, but the static got louder, whining like a dentist’s drill. Then my truck’s headlights flicked on, off, on—by themselves. I froze, keys jingling in my hand, and looked up. Over the field, maybe 200 yards out, hovered three lights in a triangle, each the size of a streetlamp, glowing green like my radio. No sound, no hum, just silence so thick it hurt my ears. The lights pulsed slow, like a heartbeat, and the grass below flattened in a perfect circle, maybe 30 feet wide. I thought, “This ain’t no drone,” ‘cause drones don’t move like that—smooth, like sliding on ice, no wobble.
The triangle shifted, tilting vertical, and I saw it wasn’t lights but part of something solid, maybe 50 feet across, blacker than the sky, swallowing starlight. My skin prickled, and—don’t laugh—I heard a voice, not out loud but in my head, like a ghost whispering, “Dear mortal, you’re trespassing!” It had a chuckle, like it was messing with me. My watch stopped at 11:47; phone, too, screen glitching with green static. I backed toward the shop, heart pounding, and tripped over a wrench. The thing shot up—straight up, no arc, like a bullet—then blinked out. The radio snapped back to Skynyrd, headlights died, and my watch ticked again.
I sat there ‘til dawn, too spooked to drive. Found my wrench 20 feet from where I dropped it, scorched black. The field had a perfect circle of flattened grass, edges sharp like a cookie cutter, no tracks. I ain’t touched that radio since—it’s still glowing green at night, tucked in my attic.
I’m no flying saucer believer, but I’m not sleeping right. Keeps feeling like something’s watching, winking from the stars."

Analysis
The Haverhill sighting aligns with UAP patterns: silent, triangular craft, electromagnetic interference, and physical trace (crop circle). Green glow and telepathic voice recall 1970s New England cases (e.g., Exeter Incident, 1965). Telepathic humor (“You’re trespassing!”) echoes Haunted Mansion-style of ghostly wit, hinting at an intelligent presence.
